I really enjoy cooking food for my family and friends. When I was a third grader I prepared some special sandwiches with decoration for the food bazaar, which was the first time for me to prepare food for many people independently. I was very nervous when I set up the stall, because the cakes made by others looked so attractive. But to my surprise, my sandwiches were very popular with the teachers. The principal Mr Nick bought one, took a picture, and sent an email to my mother. He said, "These look healthier than all the cakes. I got one, delicious!" I sold out all the sandwiches and donated the proceeds that day.
On the first day of G4, I slipped a keychain with his name into Nick's hand at the school gate, which is a souvenir from Niagara Falls. I saw the big surprise and delight in his eyes. He couldn't have guessed that buying a sandwich would help me take a big step toward confidence.
